Feedmesh: A blogger's gateway is just a ping away

Blogging will get much easier.

The old days of blogging meant submitting your XML RSS Atom feed to each host individually. Then pinging them one at a time.

Then came Feedmesh. It promises to be one stop shopping for bloggers.

Bob Wyman, of PubSub and one of the many drivers behind the new concept says, "The idea behind FeedMesh is to allow the various feed monitoring or search engines to share information about new and updated blogs."

Here's a sneak at their logo ideas. Which one do you like?

Bob was kind enough to take a few moments out of his busy schedule to share some insight into the work of the FeedMesh group. Wyman is very confident about the prospects of the new system.

Wyman commented, "The FeedMesh is designed to ensure that any blogger need only ping a single site in order to get broad distribution of their pings -- as long as the site they ping is a FeedMesh member."

Not just the updates. But all those feed submissions.

Says Wyman, "We have created the mechanism to enable 'single ping updates'. Now, we're just waiting for people to join the FeedMesh."

Let your blog hosts know: They can get on board, save time, and make their lives easier.

Feedmesh. Now making the onramp to the internet bigger, and easier
