Technorati can search your tags; PubSub cannot search your tags

  • There is a difference

Another difference between Technorati and PubSub is the ability to search embedded tags. Technorati can search tags while PubSub cannot search tags. Technorati has a tool to do this, while PubSub does not.

  • There is an independent report

David Sifry delivers a tool that works all the time, while Bob Wyman does not. Here are the details on PubSub problems with producing results with basic content, much less the embedded tags.

  • There are many errors and delays

Look at all those errors with the PubSub subscription returns: Delays, inconsistent search streams, and no timely information! We're going on how many hours: 72 hours since initially loaded, and no returns for the subscriptions.

  • They do not know what is causing the problem

They claim there is no problem. Yet, the PubSub independent test indicates there is an unknown problem driving these numerous delays, which even Bob Wyman doesn't know about.

What universe is PubSub living in?

  • PubSub has not met the challenge

If you disagree with the above statement, then you need to explain why the search results were otherwise. Again, the results are there.
  • The burden of proof rests with PubSub: To explain why they claim they "can do something without any delay" that an independent test could not replicate.

RSS Atom XML feed readers, developers and [ test testors testers ] should ask PubSub:

  • What is the problem?

  • Do they know about it?

  • What is their plan?

  • Do they have a plan?

  • What's the impact to users?

  • What is the workaround?

  • How long will it take to fix?

  • What percentage of content has been missed?

    Ask internally:

  • What ongoing efforts outside PubSub have been initiated on the assumption that there is "something other than PubSub causing the problem with providing timely content", when...in fact, the problem rests with PubSub?
