Splicing banned words feeds with XML search subscription feeds

I've been reading about comment-blog spam. Someone mentioned they had problems with e-mails getting swiped.

I thought it would be good if the XML platforms like PubSub or Technorati had a member tool that let us save our "custom banned words." [Recall, this is somewhat like the idea of an e-mail / platform parallel feed, that the platforms create to notify users of spam and phishing.]

Anyway...I'd like to hear some discussion on whether an XML search-platform could let users create a custom banned-words feed; and how this custom-word-feed-list could be automatically applied to all searches, kind of like splicing one member-feed with a new subscription.
